Insight money management was founded in 2016 by Lauren Mathurin.
CEO and Founder Lauren is a Banker having started her career in 2004.
She very quickly realised that there was a problem in the educational system as there was a vast knowledge gap for many who visited her bank, especially amongst those from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
Insight Money Management was created to educate in a way that allows everyone to understand and to provide a baseline for people to ask deeper questions with the confidence that they know the basics.
"We believe that everyone should start on an even playing field with their financial knowledge. Over the years this is what we have strived to do. No Jargon, no such thing as a silly question, and no judgement are just a few phrases that you will hear during our courses.
Our focus is and always has been to make people feel confident and comfortable in knowing the basics and that they will be able to navigate the vast financial landscape thereafter"

Lauren has worked in the banking industry since 2004. Over the years she has worked in personal banking, supporting clients with their personal banking needs right through to business banking helping to support some of the most innovative companies on their funding journeys.
Lauren is an Diversity Equity and Inclusion advocate and Co-Chairs her employers Racial Equity Employee Resource Group as well as doing mentoring and coaching.
Her passion lies in levelling the playing field, whether that be in employment, finance or in education.
